Arne had grown tired of the ‘diesel debate’ and Germany’s dominant car industry. The eco-conscious architect known for his sustainable and stylish residential properties scoured the market for a do-all bike. “That’s when I landed on the Alpenchallenge,” he explains.
The Alpenchallenge series of bike frames are designed and styled based on the BMC collection of road bikes, responsiveness and comfort being the key selling points. The fender and kickstand mounts make the bike very versatile for riding through the city and easy storage. One of the great features is the gate belt drive system that is incredibly low maintenance.
